I might drop canva for this tbh
I just tried Kodo, a new AI design tool.
It is very easy to use. I created an Instagram carousel and turned it into a poster, all through chatting. You can edit on the fly right in the editor. I love the result.
I got early access to @usekodo and have been testing it recently. The experience was a lot like the first time I used Canva x10. I'm not a designer but suddenly I can make things that look really good.....
this is a genuinely useful app: text to design. amazing what @mlg27_ has done
Design via chatting. This is really impressive
I've been using it as a starting point for my design work and it's been giving me so much inspiration!
Instagram: Feed 1080×1080px (square) or 1080×1350px (portrait), Stories 1080×1920px. Facebook: 1200×630px. Twitter/X: 1600×900px. LinkedIn: 1200×627px. Pinterest: 1000×1500px. TikTok: 1080×1920px. Kodo includes templates for all platforms with safe zones marked.
Instagram: 5-15 strategic hashtags (mix of popular and niche). Twitter/X: 1-2 relevant hashtags only. LinkedIn: 3-5 professional hashtags. Facebook: 1-2 or none (they're less effective). Research trending and industry-specific hashtags rather than using generic ones.
High-performing posts: Use bold, contrasting colors that stop the scroll, include faces or people (increases engagement 38%), have minimal text (platforms penalize text-heavy images), maintain brand consistency, and include clear calls-to-action. Kodo designs for maximum engagement.
Maintain brand consistency (colors, fonts, style) but optimize dimensions for each platform. What works on Instagram may get cropped awkwardly on Twitter. Create a master design in Kodo, then resize and adjust for each platform's specifications and audience expectations.
General guidelines: Instagram 11am-1pm and 7-9pm, Facebook 1-4pm, LinkedIn 7-8am and 5-6pm (business hours), Twitter 8-10am and 12pm. However, use your analytics for your specific audience. Schedule posts when your followers are most active, not necessarily these generic times.
Yes! Kodo's franchise ad creative social media post tool is free to use. New users get 40 AI credits once. Each AI-generated design uses 4-12 credits. Manual design tools are always free with no credit limit.
Absolutely. You own everything you create with Kodo. Use your designs for personal or commercial purposes with no restrictions, attribution requirements, or licensing fees.
