Since our last major release, we've shipped a focused set of improvements on top of what's already live in production - a much richer brand kit, a new onboarding wizard, and a homepage that shows the product instead of just describing it.
Brand Kit Expansion
Brand kit now goes beyond colors and fonts. You can store logos, company branding details, and a photo library, then import a brand from a website URL. The dashboard has a dedicated Brand Kit panel for managing everything in one place, and the AI applies your assets when you generate new designs.
Onboarding Wizard
New users get a guided onboarding flow that sets up account preferences and previews how the brand kit will look on a live mini canvas - so you see your colors and fonts on a real layout before you open the editor.
Homepage Refresh
The marketing homepage got a substantial refresh: a responsive layout demo, an interactive menu editor preview, updated feature sections, and polished landing canvases. You can explore how Kodo handles multi-select, group outlines, and real menu layouts before signing up.
Share & Export
The share menu now includes shortcuts to print at home and download the canvas directly - handy when you finish a menu or flyer and want a copy without digging through export options.
Background Removal
We rebuilt background removal with a dedicated processing path for more reliable cutouts on uploaded images and AI image placeholders. It's faster and more dependable when you need a clean product shot or cutout on a poster.
Billing & Subscription
Subscription billing in settings is clearer, brand kit management is smoother in the dashboard, and if you start to cancel you may see a special annual retention offer. Small polish, but it makes staying on Kodo easier when you're in the middle of a project.
Try It Now
Everything above is rolling out in Kodo 1.5. Open a menu or flyer, set up your brand kit, and start editing - or browse the changelog for the full list.
